Tom Camilleri

Garden Maintenance Manager

Raised in Central Connecticut, Tom grew up playing in his grandfather's home woodshop and flower garden where craft and creativity was encouraged and supported. As a young adult, wanderlust led him to San Francisco where he lived out his California dream and worked in the arts, hospitality and sales. Returning to the East Coast in 2014, the Hudson Valley has given him the opportunity to reconnect with the plants and landscape of this region and utilize his past experience and expertise with his current role as Garden Maintenance Manager with Earth Designs Cooperative.

Victoria Cintron

Junior Landscape Designer

Victoria’s innate affinity for living art began in her mother's flower shop. She learned to capture the essence of each customer's vision, fusing her love of art and flowers. After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology where she earned a degree in Fine Art, Victoria moved to the Hudson Valley, revealing a new threshold of creative expression. The patterns and behaviors of nature have long been sources of inspiration for her whether in painting, or sculpting the earth through landscape design. Having spent much of her youth on the beach observing the vastness and power of the ocean, she feels deeply connected to the many ways people interact with the environment around them. Informed by her extensive experience in the service industry, Victoria works hard to foster equitable dynamics at work as a chairperson of EDC’s Culture Committee and install crew leader.  She is currently attending classes with The Native Plant Trust and The New York Botanical Gardens where she is deepening her knowledge of garden design, ecological restoration and land stewardship.

Conor Corbett

Irrigation Department Manager

Growing up in the Hudson Valley, Conor spent his summers working as a lifeguard and swimming in the waters of the Rondout Valley Watershed. What began as a casual encounter with landscaping in the summer of 2012 later developed into a deeper call to steward the land. Conor began working for Earth Designs in 2015 as an employee, and was one of the founding members and guiding forces of the transition to the worker-owned cooperative model. Conor has studied irrigation at the New York Botanical Gardens and continues to expand his knowledge of plant-care as head of the irrigation department.

Seaira Goetz-Leinoff

Garden Maintenance Manager

As a central Florida native, Sea grew up riding horses through the dense forests of Magnolia trees and Spanish Moss. Her passion for nature and wildlife conservation took her to the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry where she earned a degree in Conservation Biology. Working in laboratories focused on native plant restoration, forestry, and invasive species management she developed her skills and love for the flora of New York State. After graduating, Sea worked for the United States Department of Agriculture and volunteered with farms across the country before settling in the Hudson Valley. The strong community and passion for maintaining local ecosystems that Earth Designs Cooperative fosters is a natural fit for her background in agricultural and forestry.

Tommy Guerrero

Operations Supervisor

Growing up among the mangroves and tropical rainforests of Dominican Republic, Tommy developed a deep love for the natural world. Guided by the curiosity awakened by that experience, he pursued an education in Environmental Science at the State University of New York, with a focus on rainforest ecology. He went on to pursue a B.S. in Computer Science at Pennsylvania State University. In his role as Director of Operations, Tommy is committed to helping maintain the efficiency of the cooperative's field operations in service of our valued clients.

Kevin Halcott

Certified Level One Stone Mason

Kevin has been living in the Hudson Valley for the past 18 years after leaving Long Island to travel, explore nature and participate in social and ecological justice movements around the country. Eventually settling down in New Paltz, he fell in love with the rivers, lakes and mountains of the region and is where he discovered the joy of working with stone. Kevin's passion for stone masonry comes from a respect for the long tradition of stone building in human history as well as a love for creating spaces for people, their family and community to connect with the planet and the elements. He is a certified Level One stone waller with the Dry Stone Walling Association and continues to train for higher degrees of certification in the craft. Seeing potent metaphors in the way that masonry is centered around principles of balance, integrity and interconnected support structures he sees the same principles as integral to a healthy community and relationship to our planet. Having spent over half of his life involved in radical community building and a variety of social and ecological justice movements, Kevin is proud to be part of the cooperative model and hopes that the success of our endeavor inspires others to pursue more just and harmonious ways to work and live. Kevin seeks to eventually be able to offer customized stone designs inspired by the local landbase as well as the symbolism that can be found in nature as his career in stone work progresses. Along with his position as a lead mason Kevin is also a part of the cooperatives culture committee which is dedicated to maintaining healthy relationships and assuring that there is a culture of equality, respect, joy and dignity in the workplace.

Alan Lefevre

Facilities & Equipment Manager, Forester

Alan is a Hudson Valley native with roots reaching back to both the indigenous peoples and colonial settlers of the area. After studying Philosophy at Ulster County Community College, he worked for six years at an organic farm where his family had stewarded the land for generations. This hands-on experience offered him the tools of the trade necessary to develop his educational formation into a concrete social and ecological praxis. He continues to perform this work at Earth Designs, in his role as equipment supervisor and as a member-owner.
